Our volunteers help us in a multitude of ways, from organizing our donations, to cooking with the residents, to teaching workshops, to simply spending time with the women. What might you be called to do?

MEN OF THE MANTLE
The Men of the Mantle provide spiritual and physical support for the programs of Mary’s Mantle. This may include
- Regular prayer for the fathers of the babies who have been or are in residence
- Assistance to the women who are moving into a new residence
- Assistance with periodic maintenance needs
- Large donation pick-up and/or delivery

MARY'S MANTLE SISTERS IN CHRIST
The heart of the Mary’s Mantle program is helping the women and children with us to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Part of that growth we firmly believe is Sunday worship. While we are distinctly Catholic at Mary’s Mantle, we do recognize that not all the women who come to us are. They are always able to attend Mass with a staff member on Sunday, but there are times when we need assistance from other Christian traditions to help us walk the women in residence into the arms of Jesus.
What is a Sister in Christ? She is someone who will commit to taking a resident to a local Sunday worship service, be it Mass or another Christian tradition. She will provide a welcoming presence in her faith community for our resident without disclosing the resident’s situation. She will pray with and for our resident, for her children, and for her family.

ADOPT THE MANTLE
Because of the sensitive nature of the work we do at Mary's Mantle, it is sometimes difficult to bring in large groups to volunteer at the residence. Enter "Adopt the Mantle!" This structured opportunity is designed specifically for groups or families we cannot accommodate at the residence. There are three components to Adopt the Mantle:
- Commit to daily prayer for the women, children, and staff of Mary's Mantle for one month.
- Engage in service to the organization off-site during that month with activities such as bottle drives, food drives, clothing drives (as necessary), gift card drives, prayer vigils, etc.
- Write notes of encouragement for the staff and residents throughout the month.
This would be a one month commitment from your organization or family, and can be as involved as you would like to make it.
